How'd it get to be Monday so damn fast? Damn alien abductions.

I had a good time hanging out on Friday night, and Saturday was mostly spend doing homey things--laundry, painting, and such. Sunday I decided that since i'd read everything in my house over and over it was time, for the sake of sanity, to get something new and good to read. I hit Big Brains, which I highly recommend if you're ever Downtown and shopping for comics. And Evan Dorkin saved the day. I am now addicted to Hectic Planet as well as Dork AND Milk and Cheese...Evan, you sweet, sensitive, funny bastard!!! I also picked up an old Grendel compilation I'd been looking for, and a cd I shouldn't really have bought.
But definitely the Hectic Planet stuff was the winner last night.

And I picked up some Blue Moon ale, remembering when Cyn and Kevin introduced me to the stuff last year. Mmmmm....Happy anniversary of us meeting face to face!!! *glug glug*

Oh wait, I'm at work, I can't chug beer.....

Dreams...

I've been having these extremely lush exotic locales in my dreams--bars, fields, etcetra. I know it's my subconcious telling me it wants to get out and be with people more. I keep telling it, "Yeah, so that's why I was dreaming of a Roman bath with people rubbing my feet? On yeah, THAT's going to happen if I "Just get out more." My subconcious has an excuse; it tells me--"it's not it's fault that I'm overly imaginative, excitable, etcetra etcetra. "

*Siiiigh*

Maybe my subconcious has a point.
