I feel much more alert today. *sips hazelnut coffee someone made*

Not much to report. I had a dream about the Middle ages and some kind of feast, with an old man with a lute telling bits out of the Canterbury tales.

Lately I've been watching the crows in the neighborhood. There are a LOT of them now, many more than there were this summer, whole murders getting together to form these long columns in the sky. Around five o'clock or so they head East, and the line of birds takes at least five minutes to get across the sky.
It seems to be a daily migration, and it's purpose is a mystery to me. Food? A nesting place for the night? A mini-migration? Why always East? It's disquieting, even though I'm very fond of crows. I know Minneapolis has a crow overpopulation problem these days; I guess it's just the fact of seeing a small cloud of them overhead every day that lets the fact sink in. So far Alfred Hitchcock has not made an appearance, so I reckon I'm safe enough.

It's damn cold out.

I just talked to the A/V guys that taped my voice reading off a list of neighborhood names for an exhibition here. They told me that my voice was the only one they didn't have to edit at all. (And my coworkers who volunteered for the project are all *very* good speakers.)

They're also told me I should consider getting into the field of voice-acting, and recommended sending tapes around. I haven't a clue where to start, and neither does A/V, really. But the encouragement was really warming. I'm thinking about it. (Couldn't hurt to research it a little, and it could be fun.)

So, anybody got a cartoon character without a voice? Hah? Hmm? Hah? C'mon, somebody, pay me to talk!!! *Jumps up and down*

Yaaaaay!!!

I'm in love with this site. I also now have a fear of blenders I didn't have before I clicked that mouse button. Apparently my dad is learning how to cook from this.
Oh my...

Click that mouse!

(I had probs getting the beginning turkey one to go, but the others seem fine...funny and yet very instructive! mmmmm, cookies...)
