They're buried under ice-mounds, every one...
When will them fleurs return?
When will them fleurs re-turn....

This weekend was a nice antidote to last weekend. I did a lot of laundry, worked on some small projects, and napped. Did a lot of stretching. Jumped up and down to the Pogues. Talked to friends. Watched the windstorms whip up snow down the street.

I'm craving flowers. I think after work I'm gonna brave the cold and hit the Wedge for a bouquet of something.

*sad*

A lot of you out there are having a really, really rough time of things lately. The roughest possible, in some cases.

If anybody wants or needs to talk, I'm right here. Always right here.

I think we need to start over today. That's what I think.

*Attempts to reboot the morning*

Damn.

*Head pops out of the copy-paper fort*

Hmmmm...It's still Monday...

*Dives back into the fort*

I'm getting a headache...probably from the salt in the popcorn I ate with lunch.
I feel like crap. I've been worried about a handful of things, my hormones are screaming, etcetra...

But it's warming up outside. Maybe some flowers and a smoothie from the Wedge will help me feel better. (I need to shop anyway. Must...have...protein....)

Ahem:

Alone in Darkness

the night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak, lost are we.
the understanding for which you pine
flares once, then dies,
devoured by a velvet ebon nothingness.
all hope must sicken and die.
your soul thrives no more.
how could you cause such hurt?
lost souls surround us, crying,
we are fallen.

*cracks a grin*

Heh, I knew that would feel better...
