The construction site next door is becoming a brown haze in the winds this morning. I could barely see anything coming to the back door. It's abnormally hot for April here...gotta love Minnesota, land of feast or famine. But is it ever beautiful outside....

*Washes dust out of eyes*

I got all creative yesterday and made a small handmade book out of paper samples I had left over from other projects. Sketched a bit. Enjoyed the moon. Fell asleep with the fan on and Dead Can Dance on the cd player. *streeetch* I feel peaceful....

How's the world? What did I miss?

Big architectural presentation at work today...

...which means the lackeys get free snacks while they dodge the Armani-clad guests...

Stuff I want to do: A list.

Lie on the grass somewhere that either a dog or goose hasn't deposited some interesting kind of body fluid.

Make lemonade with cardamom in it.

Drink lemonade with cardamom in it.

Make little calaveras for a cathedral I'm half-finished with.

Read a book in the sun, then scoot over to the shade when I feel reddish.

Wear coconut-smelling stuff.

Eat hot dogs and potato salad.

Wear sandals outside and chuck 'em when I get to the grass.

Finally learn to play the kazoo with a blade of grass. (You see a theme here?)

Count clouds until there' enough for a storm...(We're supposed to get one tonight.)

Get mustard all over my fingers.
