..And the Carp Shop in the basement's having a party this afternoon...just to celebrate that it isn't snowing anymore.

I spent a lot of time on the phone last night...It made me dream of a little community where we all lived near each other so we all wouldn't have such big phone bills and such.
Of course, a community of LJers would have it's problems...not least me popping up every few days with some kind of new weirdness.

I just got a couple of old stools someone was throwing out downstairs. Easy to fix, free, and I can paint them lurid colors or decoupage freely. Woot! (Hmmmm, wonder how many sequins I can stick on 'em?)

I'm grateful for them. I'm grateful for sleeping in tomorrow. I'm grateful I can buy the occasional comic book or stack of paints or spring rolls. I'm grateful for little pleasures and friends who make me laugh until I'm absolutely sick. I'm grateful for this cupcake I'm stuffing into my happy little face.....
