Oh gods, what a nightmare I had...

I had this terrible nightmare about aliens attacking and eating children and rounding up humanity for either a concentration-camp sort of thing or to make Soylent Green out of us...we all had to write down our names before we were loaded...(for branding? Archives? main course names?) I was having trouble writing my name, was tempted to change it to something else instead. I woke up hugging my pillow and shaking, and had a LOT of trouble getting back to sleep.

I blame it on overwork and burritos for dinner.
*carefully looks out window for flying saucers*

I don't feel very productive today...

...Plus I get to deal with a stalker-vendor over the phone....joyyyyyy...

I've been making little ofrendas though...lots of glitter's involved. and today my mission after work is to hit the art supply store on the corner for paint so I can finish painting a friend's leather jacket.

Instead of arty stuff lately, I've been doing laundry, cleaning, wanting new furniture, and thinking of clever ways to make the stuff I want. I think part of me's making up winter plans. It's not that hard to make a stylish end table when you can raid the Carpenter shop for scraps like I can:)

My life is so much more productive when I'm not at work...

For example, I had a brainstorm about making a cool Halloween tape full of sound effects and getting my grrl band to help me out with the woo-woo noises. I had an idea for something to paint, a and a TV series about my neighbors that would make me millions and blow away The Real World, Big Brother, and all those other shows...except I'd find ways to put in highly improbable things, like people in leprechaun costumes popping up and other David Lynch moments...
