Quiet day.....shhhhhhh.....

I'm having a relaxing afternoon just reading and resting my feet and looking out at the already-darkening sky. I have coffee heath bar crunch ice cream in my freezer, and the prospect of a long soak later this evening.

Even the neighbors have been kind of quiet.

Of course if I get tired of all this peace and tranquility I can put in a "Young Ones" tape. Maybe the one where they're making fun of "Good Neighbors".
I never did go to see Harry Potter this weekend; just felt more like staying in where it was warm and full of art supplies and I could have a lie-down if I wanted one. And last night I did enjoy seeing "A Christmas Carol" again...this year it had a bit with a roasted goose escapng all over the stage with people chasing it with cutlery at Old Fezziwig's party:) That's entertainment!

Once upon a time....

And a very long time ago, there was an enchanted __________ that stalked the high and mighty vales of the great ___________ of ____________. Lonely and accustomed to both silence and ______________, he wandered the blue-green grasses and bone-white stalks of ___________. Until one day.
As the Musk-ox walked through the tall grasses of the __________, he came upon a monk, old and wise, with a bundle upon his back and a patched tunic made of old but fine _________. "What are you?" Spluttered the Musk-ox in deepest ____________. "I am the Monk of ____________, and I know what you are seeking."
The aged man replied. "I have what you require right here in my __________."

And with that, the monk empited the sack and held out a shining _____________ that awed and amazed the mighty Musk-ox of ____________ Mountain. It held truth. It held peace. It held __________________.

In return, the musk-ox gave the venerable old ___________ one of his horns to take with him on his journeys...and the Ox shambled off into the __________ admiring the gift the monk had thoughtfully tied to his _______________.
