This felt like an unusually short weekend. This is going to be a hard week.
But almost definitely and possibly today this week holds my Canadian Bath-goop.

I haven't been doing much artistically, and this bothers me. I have something I want to work on after work if I'm not too whipped. I think I keep letting my perfectionist-Puritan work ethic get in the way lately of having fun artistically.
I've always had problems with letting go of that strictness and just having fun with it. Maybe if I play a bit I'll have enough energy again to tackle a bigger project without whimpering. Ben the Neighbor and I have been moaning about lack of workspace. If we were both a bit richer I'd be scoping out studio spaces downtown. Heh. The gods will provide, and if they don't I won't be able to move for projects...

Needs needs needs...As long as I'm wishing, that big black Victorian with the widow's walk and the sharpened ironwork in the front would be lovely right now.

I don't wanna go to work...

One of these days someone's gonna toss me into that Pit outside, I just know it.
Today's the day, I'm sure of it.

On the good side, this means I could visit China without airfare if I just keep digging.

I should bring a shovel with me, just in case. And one of those little hard hats with a light on tip. And goggles, in case I run into a Dragon cave and the big male spits venom at me.... Maybe Twinkies to brive the kobolds and knockers with.

I was slogging through the slushy snow, all growly from work...and when I check my mail, I find a sweet little package from Elysiangirl waiting for me. It's the most beautiful orange and pink luminaria covered in glitter!!!

AYIEEEEEE!...It's so COOOL!!!!
