Must-See-TV, babies!

I had a great night with Jen and the Banana-Loaf, eating chips and watching Bravo. We both booed at the "Boy meets Boy" show.(Hey, it seems horribly unfair not to TELL your sweet, nice contestant that some of the guys he's choosing from are sraight masquerading as gay to win a prize.)Okay, so we spent most of the hour going, "Straight!!" "Gay!" "Nono, I change my answer, look at that grin, that's gay, you're right!" "Wow, over the top--he's just gotta be straight!" Which is I reckon the whole point of the exercise. We also called Ben the Neighbor, who sends his love in between the shrieks and laughter and "Gay!" "Straight!" "Gay!" "Straight!" yells in the foreground.
And of course, on QEFTSG we both teared up when the nice made-over cowboy asked his lovely girlfriend to marry him over dessert...and jumped up and down and whooped when she said yes. This must be what football is like for most people...I understand now...*sheepish grin*

Jen also brought me thank-you presents for taking care of her furry babies...A bottle of Hallowine,("Woowoo! It has a Jack-o-lantern on the bottle!") an almanac and a cookbook from Llewellyn, and...a limerick in my honor, festooned with sweet halloweeny Mauses...

There once was a girl oft called Maus,
Who when Jen left took care of her Haus,
She fed all the kitties
and made lots of knitties,
A good friend is that Maus, she's no Louse!!

I teared up a little, I don't mind telling you...I feel loved.:)

Pirates of the Carribean...

Sounds like I'm going to go see it this weekend...hoohah!
I've been told it's amazingly good, Disney ride notwithstanding.

Though if the actual ride had Johnny Depp AND Orlando Bloom in it, well, I'd be on that for...oh, about 16 hours straight.
