It rained! it rained!!!!

And did it ever rain...I fell asleep watching the rain falling out the window.
I'm relieved. I can breathe for the first time in nearly a month since the rains knocked a lot of the pollen out of the air.

Johnny Cash and John Ritter are dead?!?!?!

This is a bad year for celebrities. I loved both those men so much. I obsessively watched "Three's Company" as a kid, and always smiled when John Ritter would pop up in movies or sitcoms. And Johnny Cash...well, he's Johnny Cash! The world's an emptier place without the both of them.
I just hope everyone blares "Ring of Fire" and finds old bootlegs of "Three's Company" to watch tonight.

It's just not fair those fine men are dead, and Michael Jackson's still walking.
Isn't it time for that guy's nose to fall off in public or something?

September is flying away...

...this alarms me a bit, since August dragged on like it would never leave.

It also alarms me because I have things I need to finish. I'm down to one more card for the Llewellyn proposal I'm *still* working on, (I told you it would take a while.) and I need to pick and choose what artwork I want to put up in Caffeto's in November.
(It'll be a lot of the wall-hanging scultural stuff--there's piccies in the webpage.)
I want to finish at least two new pieces before late October. (One I'm almost done with; one I haven't started yet but shouldn't be too hard to do.)

I'm taking some time off next week. Partially to try to finish some things, and partially because Low Delta and Cynnerth are coming to town:)
