*churn, gurgle*
Nov. 12th, 2003 07:55 amYesterday was just a total rollercoaster ride...up, down, up down.
Things were going okay until I picked up last week's PULSE and found a glowing critique of the Caffeto's show...that didn't mention me...or even the fact that there was a second artist in the damn show. Bastards. I had to control the urgings of my Cossack ancestors and refrain from running over to Caffeto's with a shopping cart for my work and a welding torch from work. I have to corner Azure and ask what the hell happened. See, see, I TOLD you I could smell this going down as a bad show. I hate being right sometimes.
Anyway, after work things perked up quite a bit. I had a lovely time with Autodidactic and her lovely friends. Lots of sketches and horrible stories and giggling. I needed me some of that, friends and neighbors. We also went to the Red Dragon, land of big goldfish-bowl-drinks. (I had tea. I am awake. So. Very. Awake.) I ran into a couple of good aquaintances at the very next table and everything. (The dragon's like that.) Absolutely fun, I tell ya....
So...the objective for today is: Get through the day without having a big fat meltdown. to this objective I have to buy the following.
One (1) can of Whoop-Ass. Maybe two.
Lunch, so I don't blow seven bucks on the Restaurant of the Beast upstairs.
Some smallish knittng project so I can zen out blissfully at lunch.
An addy to send MrsScraggit....something...*whistles innocently*
The large blunt object of my choice.
See, piece of cake. Horray for the corner store, purveyor of all kinds of foodstuffs and objejs de bludgeoun! Hoohah!
