Stuff I did recently...
Dec. 28th, 2003 05:40 pmCalled various people, mostly people I enjoyed talking to. Got phone calls, also (mostly) good ones. Okay, just mostly.
Wrapped presents for Ben and Pete.
Visited Jen when she got back from Wisconsin, dropped off key.
Shrieked in glee at the sight of my early birthday present--cookies, a begonia, a really good book on making herbal bath goop, and...*gasp* more makeup at a go than even Joan Crawford Herself ever had... Wowwwww!!!!
Went off to the Wedge with the Island Boys, and rode the bus back to their new place.
Had deja-vus all over the place from a dream I've been having for years, about crossing that bridge in various forms and ways and such. Decide it's related to Ben and Pete's move.
Had cooking fun in the nice big kitchen. Made french onion soup with toasted baguettes and cheese. Pete was grilling brats and Ben was making mushroom gravy. there was room for all three of us to cook. Awesome, maaaan....
Watched Ben set the table, and the ensuing accidents. Sat at table, ate dinner, laughed myself into a near-hemmorhage at Ben and Petey being gloriously evil at each other. ducked when the napkin holders become airborne. Laughed myself under the table.
Became Storylady and read Ben's present aloud. Laughed even more at yellow chickens being evil...especially the one from "Whatever happened to Baby Jane?" Ohhhhh dear...
Went into happy food coma...all three of us. We watched the Dark Crystal and petted the Banana Loaf.
Went hiking in the dark to the bus stop, which wasn't far. Did I mention how beautiful the view is from the Island at night?!?! Too bad I left the camera at home. Hopped on bus, jumped off bus later on, yelled in threatening way at guy who was getting juuust a little too close for comfort. Creep.
Slept late, cleaned house, played with More Makeup than Joan Crawford Ever Had, goofed off....
I think you get the idea. I feel....rested. yeah. Happily rested...
