...Hope you all had a lovely Fourth..I know I sure did. There were all kinds of fun social activities this weekend.
It's kind of weird, really...I segue'd from the Winter Recluse to the Mega-Hyper Social Butterfly lately. It can't all be warmer weather. I blame...society? Sure, why not?

And speaking of butterflies, it's cold out again. In July. In Minnesota. This is unnatural. We should be like Thailand right now. Anyway, my point is....I'm a'wearing my new pullover with the pretty sleeves. I said I would if it dropped to around sixty, and Nature obliged. I have a sinking feeling that it's all my knitting that's keeping the weather chilly...yes, I, Ms Maus, am personally Ruining Everything for Everybody. bad Maus. Bad, bad Maus.

So no knitting at work today...I'll just read the funnies or something:)

Bagel, chicken, brie,
Granny apple, free Muffin,
Mausi is now full.

*stifles undignified burp*

My hands hurt. I blame the weather a bit, or maybe I did something to them recently...
(Who am I kidding? Hello, early arthritis. Youuuuuuu suck.)

I have "Black Hole Sun" stuck in my head... "Black Hole Sun, won't you come"...Yarrrgh!!!

I got a chance to show my Knitting Geek Cred when someone asked me about the care and feeding of a cashmere sweater. I felt so smart.

There is a little list in my head of stuff I should do this week...cleaning the MausHaus,
more grocery stuff, the local liquor store for various party concoctions this week. (I've been invited to a Bastille Day party. What wine goes with Revolution, anyway?)
It would be nice to unpack more books...I've been a lazy, lazy Maus.

There are about a kajillion people I should call. And email. And pester. The Emily and I are planning on a dinnery thing this week, catch up on all our respective Art School Girls of Doom news. Mr. B. Gnome and I should eat the curry goodness until we s'plode. allrighty, who else needs a Mausi dinner date, hah? Hands up, I can't keep track no more!!

Ohyeah, and sounds like Magus Books has an art thing once a month. I should call them too, ask if the next one is this Thursday or some other Thursday. Knitty knitty knitty knitty...

Heh. A coworker came in, and I suprised him by blurting out a chunk of Chinese Philosophy as it pertains to office supplies. Now I've been asked to make a chart of the three basic Chinese Philosphy systems and how they connect to the Philosophies of the large Shelf of Office Stuff. ("the ten thousand office supplies are humble and cheap in small quantities, therefore they can be called The Small; yet they feed and nourish the Desk Organizers and most of Design, yet does not claim to be their lord...therefore, they can be called The Great." Heh heh...)

And now this entry is a real, true Ramble, brought to you by a quiet office...And about time, too.
