A list:

Wearing: black tank top, red button-down shirt, white linen pants. Black socks, black shoes. Eyeglasses, ponytail, rings and earcuff. I look like a refugee from the White Stripes.

Eating: Nothing, though I had rice and nori again for breakfast. Yummers!

Drinking: Nothing, though I should chug a gallon of ice-water pretty soon. It's gonna be hot today.

Wanting: To Not Be at Work, to have a lovely day like yesterday.

Thinking: Good stuff, albeit groggy...need...tea...

I'm feeling kind of braindead, like some tea or maybe a nap is in order. Mmmm, I suuure would like a nap.

Autodidactic has an interesting thread going today, about some of the psychological underpinnings of abusers, both individual and societal...if I had more than two brain cells to rub together this afternoon I'd comment. Maybe later, when I don't feel quite so sluggish. Anyway, if you're in the mood for some decent brainfood go check it out...

...meanwhile I do the workity thing and try to find a second to look at the new Knitty. Hey, you can't knit sweaters and afghans all the time!! Okay--I can, but that's probably not healthy or something. If nothing else, I could suffocate from heatstroke under all the wool. At any rate, this week I must pester Ben the Neighbor to go to a new Cawfeeshop in my neighborhood. If we like it, then we'll have Knittin' in Public, me and the other Flying-white Samurai Knitters of Supreme Fabulousness. (It's handy, with a row of restaurants if we get hungry from all the yarny evil.)
