Hotmail's mysteriously all better now....

I probably will switch it in the near future, when I get a little time. Weird...verrrry weird.

I've been kind of project-obsessed this week...my test jacket is at the halfway mark. (Memo to myself: Pictures! and make Ben the Neighbor host 'em! I'll bribe him with more dumplings if I gotta.) My at-work knitting's some red lacy stuff for the mixed media piece. I got ahold of a Textile Center newsletter and found some interesting resources, and an old 70's knitting book Pipa Pete gave me showed an interesting yarn-spinning trick with a crochet needle I want to try...Why is this stuff so damn satisfying? I get more satisfaction sitting on the couch with the Project du Jour than I get all day at the Inferno. (Um, that would be because I actually do something productive that's lovely and fun and stuff...which is completely the opposite of Inferno life.)

Obsession is never pretty...oh wait, yes it is if it end up with a new mohair and metallic-mix comforter. Narrrrrrf...

The Inferno is...well, it's the Inferno. "nuff said.
The combination of work and my hormonal angst is kicking my butt most effectively. I've been on the phone with friends around nine-ish and just drifting off mid-conversation with the friends going, "Hello? Michelle?
Honey, wake UP!!!" And then they send me off to bed.
I've been eating and eating like a crazywoman, shredding leaved and meat and wasabi peas and seaweed and rice crackers...gee golly, ya think I might need a little more iron in my diet? Nahhhhhhh...meanwhile I'll go lick me some spoons or something for that yummy metallic taste.
