Feeling a bit improved...

Yesterday was a little rough. I was in a fair amount of pain, and just sat around waiting patiently for the drugs to do their thing. Miss Kitty dropped by to bring me soup and juice and yogurt...I adore her and the ground she walks on,I mean, she even brought me ice cream:). We commisserated for a while about our mutual mouth-ouchie experiences.
The talking was a little painful, but I think it did some serious ultimate good...I had a bit of a breakthrough last night and feel and look a lot better. (though definitely not all the way healed; not yet. But soon.) So I'm going to work this morning. I can try to set up as much stuff as I can for the jury duty thing next week, and I intend to go verrrrry easy on myself this week.

Wearing: Black skirt. black hose. green pullover tunic-y thing, black shirt over that.
Ear cuff.

Eating: Oatmeal with dried apples and honey and milk. Oh yeah, and a little Ibuprofin....but a much lower dosage now. Yay me!

Drinking: Milk. Moooooo....

Noticing: That I'm pretty awake for someone who had to keep waking up at odd hours to take meds. That it's earlier than I expected. that I probably should have some caffeine anyway...

Thinking: That I should have taken today off, too, milk this for all it's worth work-wise...and I probably would if I didn't have Jury duty next week...

Hoping: that I feel better in time for Ben and Petey's Stich N' Bitch, That today will be kind to me, that Mr Sta-Puft keeps his damn distance.

Admiring: the box of super-soft yarn order that came for me yesterday. Mmmm...soooofffffttttt..
