(no subject)

...I had a good time yesterday with the shopping and the knitting and whatnot. I got a trim and managed to escape Victoria's Secret without having a slingshot-bikini-brief fight. (I did get hectored into getting one of their stupid cards. Bad Maus.) I still need to see the last damn Star Wars. Maybe next week; this week is piling errands and obligations up like cordwood...

A lot of my friends are working themselves ragged this week. I got a chance to see Miss Kitty yesterday, and she's on day 2 without sleep, editing manuscripts. It's scary to see her so tired. I have to start buying lottery tickets or something; I'd like to take all the people I care for on a big long private cruise with a giant creepy tiki bar and a Halloween-costume Limbo contest. Who needs a vacation, bebeh?!?!?

Of course, this means I actually have to *buy* a lottery ticket:P Pfeh.
