All work and no play makes a dull Maus...

...I've been kitten-sittin'this weekend for friends out of town. The kitties are half-grown and sweet and rambunctious--I had to rescue a plant that one of them was hell-bent on destroying thismorning when I stumbled down to make a cup of tea. It doesn't help when you're scolding a kitten and he's just sitting happily in your arms and purring at you, and his sister's trying to get stuck in a window. The cuteness, I swear you'd be completely overcome by it and be able to say nothing but "Sweetiewoogums!" in a matter of seconds.
*Makes cutie-pie noise*
*smacks self in head*


Anyway, got here early since I'm trying out a new bus schedule, so I stopped off to a coffeeshop for some foofy coffee and some (uninterrupted by kittens) knitting. Nice and quiet and fragrant from all the japanese lilacs that are still holding on and the blooming poppies somebody planted outside.

*sighs happily*

Even with all the rain, spring is so good.
