Packing, slippers, books, knitting...

...I had my pre-op checkup today for tomorrow's surgery. Everything looks like it'll be pretty straightforward--except my recovery and hospital time sounds like it'll be a little longer than expected. (2-3 days possible for the hospital, and 4 to 6 weeks out of work. Yipes...) At least the doctor said that I was nauseatingly healthy other than what I'm having surgery for. So, fingers crossed all the way...


I'll try to check in when I can, but it might take me a few days. Wish me luck, and I'll call people when they make me stop hitting the "Drugs" button over and over and over... I love a lot of you veeeeeeeery much...


And smuggle in some french fries or something if you're coming to visit. Or I'll just moan at you, "I had Jello today..." until the guilt kicks in:)
