Hmph...

...I discovered it's easier to get up in the morning now that I have more light at my disposal.

Granted I kinda like dim rooms, but a decent light source makes it easier for me to do textile-y things. I finished this interesting shag pillow out of this rose-colored wool Jkcohen and his lovely wife Beth gave me when they were in town. It was the perfect stuff for tons of little loopy-loops, and I combined it with a sunsetty one-ply I made on the wheel to give it some texture...it really looks good. It's now drying in my bathtub...I think I can stuff with with the Ikea pillow I bought the other day when I get home from the Jade Mines.

I gotta stop all this Ikea crap, before Tyler Durdin from Fight Club finds me and torches my wee apartment. *shudder*

Cereal killing in my sleep...

I just remembered the weirdest dream I had last night. It was something about inventing a Dia de los Muertos breakfast cereal with little skull-shaped oat-kibbles colored in bright red and blue food coloring. I was going to call it "Calaverios" and had eaten half the box when I woke up...

...and of course I woke up hungry.
