Lots and lots of eggs...

I visited Ben and Peaty yesterday on my way to see two units in their co-op that were available. The units are both bigger than my current apartment, and they're either what I'm paying now or under. *tries not to drool.* The kitchens are bigger. *tries harder not to drool* One of them has a little fireplace and a view of the river. *stuffs paper towels in mouth* The same one has a clawfoot bathtub...Did I mention there's an opening for owning my unit so I can accrue equity? And that Ben the Neighbor would be my neighbor again?
*Gives up and starts jumping up and down like a maniac going "Wheeeeeeeheeeheeheeee!"


Ohhhhhhh god I hate moving, but this is something I can move FOR. Not just "A place that'll do." A place I want. I'm kind of afraid to want it. But I do want it, ghods help me. I've already filled out the application and will meet with the rental office early next week. *gulp.* I think it's really starting to take form here...

And in the meantime, I have a dozen very fresh chicken and duck eggs in my fridge at the moment. I think tonight I'm making fried rice with eggs or egg-drop soup or something. They're beautiful, all brown and green and such. I think I have my pysanky stuff around, so maybe I'll dye a couple for the spring equinox:)...

So there you have it; yearning, fear, friendship and eggs. A whole lotta eggs...
