...The other day I bought some new music. Well, newish music anyway--an old copy of Michelle Shocked's "Captain Swing" which I used to listen to all the time and hadn't had a copy of for a while. Then KMFDM's Money, and an Irish band with an interesting cover and a decent recommendation. Does anybody buy cd's anymore but me? I can't help having hard copy somethimes; I'm enough of a luddite that I don't store any music on my funky dinosaur of a computer and I resist the minimalist charms of the Ipod. Don't wanna, can't make me, really can't afford it, bebeh...

Anyway, it's good fun to pop in some new stuff and dance around in my nice big living room. There's worse ways to start a Sunday morning...
