Lots and lots of company this last week...

I've been having a lot of company this past week. I think it's this Minnesotan impulse to cram in as much socializing as possible before it gets seriously cold. We all have frenzied barbecues and dinner parties before the hibernation instinct kicks in. I had my cow-irker Gail over last night, the night before was Liz's birthday celebration. Day before that, there was much hanging out in the back yard with friends. Tomorrow the Scraggits are coming by, so tonight is reserved for a quick house scrubbing. I'm glad to see everybody, but I think a nice night of cleaning up is in order:)

Meanwhile the world chugs on. Looks like Voltaire is in St. Paul in October. How cool is that? Very cool, I say. I'm slowly planning a new Morbidly Inclined tour for the beginning of October, which I have to coordinate with my evil co-host, Captain Emily. (The theme is "Haunted/Not Haunted", where Captain Emily and I will argue about the so-called Haunted Rooms of our museum. We'll be doing more than one tour, so if you can't make one perhaps the other one will work.) I also have a spanking new account on Etzy where I'll be offering knit goods, yarn and gutcreatures, but right now there's no pictures just yet. When it's all shiny and presentable I'll put up a link:)

So there you are...lots of stuff to do between happy times with friends and loved ones.
