The God-Botherers are out in force. This last weekend I had a lady knocking on my door, asking me to come to a meeting about Jesus. I showed her my pentacle and smiled politely, and she went away very quickly...to Ben the Neighbor's house. Heeheehee!

Since the Island is waking up, so are all the neighbors. I've been seeing them more and more too. This is really nice...

The houseboat moored at the side of the old boat-launch is making horrible,ominous creaking noises. I'm guessing it's because the river is just so high and mighty right now...
