Whew...

I had my performance review at the Mines today...all went well, I brought cookies. Not as a bribe, even though I keep getting teased for it. I remember how horrible performance reviews used to be under the reign of Mr. Sta-Puft, back at Dante's Minimalist Inferno. I'm grateful for any performance review that doesn't have me in tears, wanting to beat the snot out of myself just to get the hell out of his office...

So I'm home, celebrating the cooler, happy weather with a tall glass of milk and pasta with bacon chunks in it. Oh god, bacon--the food of joy. Maybe late I will be on the fabulous Patio, relaxing and spinning yarn. Yarn is flying out of the Etsy shop this week, so I need to make more...
