I got my two books from Amazon at work today. I'm all excited about that, I am.

I'm also scrambling around for some paperwork that's disappeared off my counter...which I just found...so cancel that bad thing, it's all a good thing now.

and my lunch haiku is early:

Pizza Hot Pocket,
Some juice from the Coke machine,
and my feet up. Whew!

Ms Eff, removing that worry furrow in her brow by peeking at "The Winter Child" Awwwwww...

Midway was my old stomping grounds. One of the first places I could go on a public bus with a friend. But it was way different back then, and the Malt Shoppe wasn't even there. :(

Meanwhile, stop that. Stop it right now, you hear?

Leftover chicken breast from fettucine night in the Holler... Diced chicken, onions, cauli, peapods, carrots sauteed, then baked with pepper jack cheese... M'luv liked it, then I drove to the airport... Good snacks on the plane, too... My cow-orker took NWA and was upgraded to 1st class, but only got peanuts (Hah!)

Wrong!

Sushi and I don't get along too well. So I had a wonderful creation called Seafood Kushiyaki, with salad and miso soup.

Funny thing is, another LJ friend of mine went to a Japanese restaurant last night, too. I dunno if she had sushi, but she did have sake, which I love but had to forego last night. Next time!

Well, we can have tempura if you stop by or I can flee my workplace for more than a couple of days at a shot. I love tempura!!!

Ack, I love tempura, too, but it doesn't love me. :( My sister has the same problem. But there's plenty of other styles of Japanese food to keep me happy.

What I liked the most was The Kid's child's meal. An adult-size serving of miso soup, with reasonable portions of chicken teriyaki, assorted tempura, salad, rice, and fruit. I asked her if she thought I could order that next time, and she said: Mom, you can order it but they won't give it to you because you're not a kid.

Well, hrmph.
