Two cups of tea and still sleepy...
Dec. 27th, 2001 09:46 amI was dreaming about street-fairs again last night, I think. I'm still pretty tired.
*Yaaaaaawn*
I've got a flower catalog in front of me, covered in roses. I'm tempted to cut them out and have a small paper garden since we're officially in Monochrome for a while here in the Frozen North. (Which hasn't really been all that frozen until recently. I saw rosebushes putting out flowers in mid-December this year. I kept admiring their bravery, and sneaking rosebuds home so they could bloom without getting frostbitten.)
I'm almost done with a gothic wall-sconce made out of found wood from the carp shop.
I'm gluing and tying in some quartz to contrast the black and silver I painted it. A friend of mine might sell me her car in February. (It's got a stick-shift, but she's offered to walk me through it.) And now that the holidays are almost over I can work on some new stuff. (Like the spooky dollhouse and some new dolls for people and such...winter is good for making art, since you're encouraged to stay the hell inside where it's warm and dry.)
Off for more workies...(It's a quieter day today...I can get some stuff on the back burner done for a change.)
