Free internet access is soooooo very, very sweet...and right around the corner from me too.

Now I can actually catch up on you all just a little bit, and actually type something longish!!! Without interruption of duty, lunch, or dollar signs!!! Woot!!!

I could write a big longish rant about work...but I'm so tired and deleriously happy to just sit somewhere that isn't white and flourescent with projects lurking behind every corner....*Sighs happily and stretches* Even my tea was free, I had a leftover certificate. (I tipped the baristo heavily.*grin*)
I can put in another part of my pirate story later on this week, with a nice cup of something at my elbow.

Lately I keep having dreams of being under water...deep under water, all the way down to where the light doesn't go anymore...just a shimmer of blue way above me. It's a peaceful dream, not scary at all...

This last weekend I've been dwelling on old histories, mine and other people's. Old boyars and French revolutionaries, desperate refugees and me. (I read too much history, I think.)
Every time I turn on the damn radio it annoys me, unless I get lucky and stumble onto some Bryan Ferry or Gary Neuman or*gasp* Peter Murphy. I keep thinking about how big or how small our insular worlds tend to be, how they stretch and contract, how they fill with people and how they empty into the waiting sea of Everything...

Heavy thoughts for the Queen of Mausiland, I know...blame it on the caffeine, babies...

It got put on hiatus because every time I tried to add something somebody at work needed me for somthing. I couldn't concentrate.:(

But now I can do something a little longer if I can kick the other baristas off the internet for a bit:) Huzzah!
