Wearing: Black button down shirt, black tank top, olive skirt with sumi-style flowers on it, charcoal leggings, black boots.
Ear cuff. Necklace made of freshwater pearls I scavenged from another necklace. Hair in a tail, with small braids here and there. Rhinestone watch, small silver ring.

Drinking: coffee cut with cold water so I can chug it.

Admiring: A catalog another musuem sent us with a picture of an Imperial screen with the goddess Amaterasu on it. Wowwwww...

Thinking: Of work today, of the not-quite finished painting at home, of when to weasel some more time off. Ahhhhhh...

Grateful: That I'm not all itchy like yesterday from my sunburn. (It's not even that bad a sunburn, sheesh.)

Wondering: How everyone else is lately....

Wearing: Lavender sweater, off white slacks, nylons, black flats.

Morning! I'm here at the office struggling to stay awake and not looking forward to the days later in the week when I have appointments to see my doctors.

But the sun is shining so far today. It's a bit nippy, but not too cold. I'm going to go for a little walk later.
