msfledermausA friend offered me the use of his scanner after work today, so I'll try to put in a pic or a drawing or something. I'm a bit excited and a little apprehensive as well. (I hope it works and something doesn't gack on me.) Hmm, decisions, decisions. I'm always a little self-concious when it comes to photos. (what american female isn't?)
I'll play with some sketches and look at the photos of the party last week to see if something there might be fun...(Like there's a pic of me with a little gun with a *bang!* flag hanging off the end threatening a co-worker in a crown and robe. Oh, and I was wearing a horned Viking helmet, too...:)
Also got a chance to talk to my mother for a long time on the phone...Amazing the things we talked about; stuff like gay culture and psychological stuff about my grandparents,etcetera. She gave me permission to paint her old luggage any color besides the avacado green she always hated:) (She's got the matching small carry-on to send me, too.) It's funny; ever since a friend had a dream of travelling to Europe with matching red luggage, I've wanted some, too. (Well, red luggage is pretty cool, and you'd always be able to find it at baggage claim:)
Ms Fledermaus, still jones'ing for travel...and my passport picture is VERY funny...wide-eyed and my mouth in a frozen rictus for all time...pretty much the way I look coming off an airplane anyway...
