I'm having the luckiest day!!!

I caught a bus right as it was pulling out to Uptown, and hunted for beads for a project. (Not so much luck there, but I can always check another time.) I went into Dreamhaven to buy comics and Neil Gaiman was there doing a signing! My pal Bob was working that day, so after I bought Neil's new book he bumped me up in line for the signing. I admired Neil's beautiful fountain pen, and he drew me a rat on the inside cover for me. Whatta guy!!!

I caught another bus pulling out on the way to the coffee shop to hop online and glom onto my new purchases...and "Just Another Day" by Oingo Boingo comes on...my favorite song of all time. And I have an orange push-up pop!!!

Awwwww...I can see how that would be...Every time Oingo Boingo played (fairly) close by i couldn't make it for some reason or another--different state, no transport, breaking up with someone, etc...

I hear he's a really quiet, neat kinda guy up close, that Mr. Elfman.
