I hear from Mamichan that the power went out on Sunday, so they had to run from generators yesterday and everyone was sent home around noon...*snort* I shouldn't snort...the power went out HERE in my apartment yesterday for a few hours. I used the opportunity to defrost my fridge.
anyway, chances are that means there will be boatloada of work to catch up on, and some coworker waving papers in my face going "Mi-CHELLLE, will you do something with this document/copy/copier/fax/squid please?"

*siigh*

I enjoyed being a lady of leisure, yes indeedy I did...

Tomorrow...well, tommorow I'll be at work too. For some bizarre reason it seems appropriate to be at the same place where I saw...everything.
If anything weird happens, I'm probably safer at work anyway.

Did I tell you the story of the day I was cleaning squid in the kitchen and a squeamish roommate came in and I chased her around the kitchen with a squid head making Cthuhlhu noises? I'm guessing i must have at some point:)

I was thinking about how nervous I'll be driving into the city tomorrow morning and riding that elevator up to the 19th floor. It's tempting to stay home.
