When the drills kick off in my building my first thought, I must admit, is "DAMN YOU F*CK@%T IMBECILE SEWER LIVING SEXUALLY DYSFUNCTIONAL SC!MS£%K?RS" will you please EXPLODE.... NOW!!

But then I think:
They're just making things :)

And I try to imagine that they're hanging up Cuckoo clocks and polished brass coat racks. It works (kindof...maybe...not) with roadworks too. "Just fancy, and I had no idea they were going to install an ornamental fountain outside my window, they sure do seem to be digging a damn big hole. Let's just hope they've got a really tall Cherub to go in it.... etc

Of course I kinda like the whole idea of Godzilla rampaging next door...I keep waiting for the roar. And possibly Mothra.

There's construction all over the neighborhood these days here...we all feel just a mite motion-sick these days from all the booming and shaking.:)
