...You'll love this...

Okay, when you last tuned in the noise problem was setled from the neighbor that had the big fight and scared the crap out of me, yes?
Well, no. I was dropping off to sleep and it was 11:00 when I was rudely woken up by...hammering. Lots of hammering, like someone was putting up booksheves.
Yep, you read right. Late night carpentry the same day they were given a warning about a noise complaint. What were they THINKING?!?!?!?!

I stumbled out of bed, found the wall that had the noises, and when there was a gap in the echoing hammer-noises I banged my hairbrush against the wall, yelling, "Knock it off, you're keeping me UP!!!"

The noise stopped.

I went back to bed.

They do it again, I'm taking the Accordion out into their hallway at 3 am. Don't you think I'm kidding.

Fantastic. Tell you what - when I get my arse over to MN I'll bring a sledgehammer with me and we can do some decoration of that particular wall if they decide to do it again, eh? :)

Yes, the accordian would definitely be good revenge. Very good revenge.

Must play a piece with half the notes wrong though. They will beg for mercy then.

My upstairs neighbors used to play music that sounded like forklifts colliding underwater (at 2 and 3 am yet). Other times they'd play some annoyingly repetitive club music around that same time. I swear they never leave their fucking place! No matter what time I get home, I always hear them. They've been relatively quiet lately. *whew*

Bring on the accordion, I say. Have you ever heard Miss Murgatroid?

I hear ya! There's been all kinds of hammering going on through the whole building for DAYS! Last night at about the same time the folks in 506 or 507 were doing some hammering too, unless it was carrying down all the way from the 8th floor... then i went to bed around midnight and the banging started right above my head! i was about to get really pissed and go up there, but then i realized it was different banging, and that the people above me were just having kinky monkey sex. Which is always forgivable in my book.

What gave away the monkey sex? The banging or the loud chimp noises? ; )

both! and the vague moans in between were too rhythmic to be the result of someone hitting a finger with a hammer, i thought...

I also have major construction down the road from me:)
