*eats bagel with brie*

I had a lovely dinner with Sirreal13 after touring the Bravo exhibit at work, which I hadn't seen yet. Fantastic photographs, if you havent'seen Manuel Alvarez Bravo's work before I definitely recommend it.
We drew things on the intereactive art butcher paper in gallery four--Mikhail drew a peep smoking a cigarrete, (bad peep!) and I drew the Standing Glass er--squid:)

I'm still under the weather though. I had the beginnings of a migrane by the end of the night-probably being under all those flourescents all day today and then the bright galleries too. My leg was bothering me too. I can't tell if it's a virus that's playing with me like a cat with a not-too-bright Maus or it's all just hormones.

I wanna go see Harry Potter this weekend...St Anthony's showing it. Who's with me?

I feel mostly bettr..I think a lot of it was pure stress... work's been horrible lately, and i haven't had the energy for anything artistic, which bothers me...

*checks wallet*
Damn!!!

and the flying monkeys have all had their wings taken away, and no dessert for them, either...

*dreams of idealized utopian LJ society where we all lived nearby and were happy and well adjusted and all had lots of money and interesting jobs and--hell, long as I'm dreaming, put in a huge ancient movie theatre with balcony seating and all the free popcorn you could eat.....*

*looks around*
Damn!!

One of my personal dreams is to have my own movie theatre and to schedule it with all of the films that I think should be seen. As someone who went to film school, I think that this would definately be an interesting proposition...

* dreaming that I'll stop meeting online people that I would love to ask out on a date and/or spend time with because they always seem to live on the other side of the country * : (

I like that dream..I bet you'd show many an interesting thing...

I'm sorry I live waaaaaay over here...seems to be what happens online; the interesting people are across the country and the creepy guy is invariably living down the block from you and has his own building-climbing sucker pads...

I like that dream..I bet you'd show many an interesting thing...

How does a double feature of TRON and WARGAMES sound? Or SIXTEEN CANDLES and CLUELESS? Or Bela Lugosi and Gary Oldman versions of DRACULA? Or SUNSET BOULEVARD and LA CONFIDENTIAL? My brain constantly runs through the possibilities...

I'm sorry I live waaaaaay over here...

Hmmmm... Maybe, if I can afford it next summer, I could take a trip to see all of those lakes you've got up there... ; )
