Christmas Eve in the Maus Haus...

I've fed and petted and played with little Saturn, and watered various lovely plants while he howled to be let in to eat them. Silly kitty.

I've just finished a ham and cheese bagel with an apple and hot homemade hot chocolate. I had a craving, so I bought honey and vanilla and cocoa and nutmeg. Mmmmmm....

I'e been invited to Christmas dinner tomorrow by Miss Fleur and her lovely friends. I will bring various plastic toys and games...and a nice Chianti. *insert various disgusting noises here* Nono really, I like Chianti!!

I have cranberries...and I will reenact my horrifying winter ritual of--Cranberry Sauce with fresh Orange Peel! Ahahahahahahaaaa!!!!! Little red fruits that never harmed anyone, boiling in nefarious sugary-orangey purgatory!!! (Okay, I do have little bites all over my hands--had to defang them first.)

I will have a lovely holiday nap...because I can.

I will toast all those working today with hot chocolate and hope your day is speedy and painless, so you can get to the good stuff. I love you!!! I'll name a cranberry after you and everything!!!
