Damn, that's good bagel!!

It's warming up today...a whole 11 degrees out right now. Yes, talking about the weather can be very dull, unless it's stuff you have to slog through on the way to work and can kill you if you lose your hat and gloves. I had an urge to reread American Gods particularly for Shadow having to deal with all the serious cold of the Upper Midwest for the first time. It's always interesting to see how people think of a phenomenon you yourself have taken for granted for years.

No anthrax, I found out. I don't have to be quite on the lookout for anything horrible...yet. Except for the Danish Bastard we called the bomb squad for last year, who still sends love-notes from time to time. I am very relieved.

The crows are brooding in the trees. Lot's of 'em again. I think they really like Loring now; they weren't here two years ago. It's very Old World, very Norse and Celtic of me to be living near an oak grove full of ravens. I like their gossip sessions in the trees when I walk by:) Sometimes I leave a little bread for them.

*Looks out window and smiles at murders of crows*

There was a very loud crow in our locust tree. A rare sight, since they usually don't hang out so close to the house.

I think the raven has something to do with my Celtic zodiac identity... Where is that book?

How is nutella different from peanut butter? Does it have the swirl of chocolate thru it? I've never eaten it.

It's this hazelnut spread with cocoa in it, so it tastes nutty and chocolatey at the same time.
I imagine it would be really good on a banana sandwich, and it's pretty decent on a bagel.
