msfledermausUmm...radio was getting on my nerves, so I hve some nice Rasputina in.
I had bad nightmares last night. The kind you desperately try to awake from and keep realizing you're still asleep. Sometimes I dream about some kind of stadium, and up in the bleachers I'llbe wandering around lost and confused. This time I ran into an ex-boyfriend of mine, one I go out of my way to avoid, and we had some kind of nasty confrontation.
Sometimes my dreams come true, sort of...I'll see geography or lighting or a landmark or a situation years before I'm actually there. I often don't understand the dreams very well, since it often doesn't have any context, or what is has is confused. I dreamed that I would go to Japan years before I went there. Ditto my work; and even though it was a public place it didn't have the layout it did when I had the dream until I came to work here. (Many of our walls are modular; we tear down and rebuild a lot.) I could name a lot of places I'd dreamed about before I got there: Dinkytown, Lowertown, the mountains of Montana and a fire they hadn't had yet, the skyline of Minneapolis with extra buildings that weren't there at the time, St Louis, Parts of downtown Milwaukee, tiny fragments of Atlanta.
There's places I haven't been to yet that I dream about.
This stadium dream is one of them. Of course, maybe my subconscious is just telling me I don't like stadiums or something...it's possible.
I know a lot of people have dreams similar to mine...I wouldn't mind hearing about them if you have them.

I have this dream about this OLD white country house. The image is vivid. It has this cute front porch with a white spindle railing. The drive way is of dirt and winds around to the back where this old unused(?), unkept barn sits. Across the road is a field of corn that stretches beyond the field of my vision. I often climb up the steps to the porch (wooden steps creak underfoot) and a lot of times a women (On the plump side) comes out to greet me. She always has on this billowing white dress and her hair is long and blonde. Sometimes I just sit on the porch swing with this woman and sometimes I look into her eyes and see her face just as plain as can be. She has blue eyes with full lips and what is really weird...she has a tiny chip on her right front tooth. She always has this beautiful smile and I know we are in love but the person who is me is NOT really me..... STRANGE!! I have this similar dream at least 3 or 4 times a year. Any ideas???
