Insert "Tequila' dance here.....

I'm slowly getting better, but I definitly have bronchitis now.
So. More echinacea, maybe the last of that herbal tea ben the neighbor gave me a while back to help me sleep, with mint and skullcap and whatnot. I think when I feel better I need to hit the Wedge and stock up, since I've been drinking up my herbal cupboard. I'm out of candied ginger, and lemon balm, and almost out of chammomile. At least my bath bombs are keeping my spirits up:)

I'm fretting for a lot of my firends lately...seems we're all in various states of unease and unhappiness lately, for a myriad of reasons. Every now and again I keep wanting to say, "Screw it--We're all going to a nice LJ co-op somewhere pretty, where we'll grow plants and there will be soup in every pot, meaningful fun work, coffee outings and DSL in every home, bebeh!" *Siiiiiigh*....Granted if we did have a commune our closest neighbors would probably be a milita or those gun-toting-neo-Nazis down the road or something...

But I'm thinking of you. I hope you're all doing something good for yourself...even something small.

Small things are good, you know. So sez 5'4 me.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still not feeling better...but taking a sick day will do you good, specially since it's going to be VERY COLD tomorrow. Stay warm and keep up the fluids and just rest - it's the best thing! Hope you feel better soon!!!

I'll do my best:)

Hey, how are you feeling? Wizzy says you've been sick even longer than me.
I'd share my tea, but the monitor keeps getting in the way...

I've had this crud since the beginning of February...and I just can't seem to shake it completely. Nose is still stuffy and I'm still coughing to the point where my voice is hoarse (and you can imagine how well THAT goes down twice a day when I have to relieve our switchboard operator lol). I feel a lot better physically but I can't WAIT for the rest of it to go away. Thanks for the offer of the tea, though - I appreciate it! We have some spiced apple cider mix that is great and has 100% RDA of Vitamin C and I have been drinking that :o) Take care of yourself and get better soon!

I think he did both, just at different times in his life...

I mean, he had to get clearance with those rhinestone-studded capes he wore:)

That sounds like my crud too:P I guess we both just have to tough it out until it all goes away...or spring comes, whichever:)

I will if I don't get any better soon, but if it's viral there won't be much a doc can do...

I get this sometimes, so i know all the things I can do for it: Rest, lots of garlic, and honey and cayenne pepper and hot liquids.

I pormise though, it it keeps on like this there is a doc in my future. Thank the gods for insurance!

If small things are good, then I am bad. (6' 3") :)

Just remember, its your *duty* to consume as much garlic as possible to not only get better soon (which I hope you will) but to also "share" with your coworkers when you get back. They'll all know that you take your health seriously only if they smell garlic coming out of the pores of your skin....

PS: you have gun toting Neo nazi's down the street from you? ICK!

*fret*

I really hope you're actually taking care of yourself: getting rest, not beating yourself up about not being able to be social, calling certain Phiggies to come make you soup, etc.

At least I know it won't beat the hallucinations I had as a little kid with pneumonia.:)

I do feel like I'm getting better now that I've slept in for 10 hours:)

Big and little things are good, I think...nevero one or the other:)

Yes!!! I will eat garlic and garlic and...MORE GARLIC!!! I will snort lines of garlic powder! bathe in it!!! Sleep in it!!! Wuahahahahaaa!
die virus, DIE!

Actually, I don't have gun toting neao-Nazi's down the street from me...that I know of. But I lived in Bozeman for a few years, and about 10 miles in every direction out of town was some kind of scary militaristic compound--aryan nation, white power guys, CUT members...freaky. they all hated each other, too. I was just thinking about who would end up our neighbors if I started a utopian LJ society.*grin*

the 59 seamstresses sell cars? I bet they're really sparkly ones....

Heh. I like Vegas:) It's so unashamedly crass and loud and garish! and Penn and Teller live there!

I hung out there for half a day...between about 2am to nearly noon. (I was on a roadtrip with friends to Arizona.)
I could see many good and bad points right away, most definitely. What's it like living there?

Penn is a crazed man..I got to be onstage when he was in town years ago with Teller. I had a cordless drill and was drilling the screws into the metamorphosis box with Penn talking a blue streak and throwing his boxers on my head. Hilarious.

I did too! He's got a good voice on him, really...

I thought about moving to Vegas years ago, before I moved home to Minnesota, land of extremes. It's -12 below right now, windchill-20, and this summer will be high 90's with 90 percent humidity. Vegas can be no worse than that, surely:)

Keep poker out of the schools!!! Everybody know's it should be video blackjack!!!

Eek. I can cook Tadoori chicken on people's cars!!!

*Jaw drops*

I guess I'm too used to the other extreme...I think -12 is no big deal, but that 118 just shocks me!

You would just need very warm chimp-clothes, that's all:) Or you'd freeze into a block of chimp-ice.

*gets out a huge sweater, arms extra long*
There, you're all set!
