Happy Valentine's day!!!
Feb. 14th, 2003 08:00 amYeah yeah, me too....*grumble*
But don't you fret. I have a few things to help us all over the Valentine blues.
I heart shaped box of Russel-Stover Candies with Elvis on the cover of the box.
At your local drugstore. I chose Vegas Elvis with the rhinestone suit.
*Opens it up, munches on a chocolate caramel*
1 bottle of "Tainted Love" bubble bath. Found in trendy bath-goop stores.
(You can put on the Soft Cell or the Marilyn Manson cover, whichever seems appropriate.)
1 bottle of culinary-quality rosewater for rose martinis after work. Gin or vodka.
a little cardamom over the top is lovely.
I candle for the love-spell of your choice.
(Put down the pins...you can dave them for tax-time for the IRS voodoo dolly)
Calming lavender oil to damp disappointment when that coworker gets a million flowers and you don't.
(bam bam bam-bam, ba bam bam bam-bam, I wanna bee se-dated...)
Glitter and paper and a pen to make silly valentines for friends. Lots of glue. Get glue on yourself. Get glue on your friends. Get glue and glitter in your hair. Realize it won't come out for days. Add more glitter.
See, it's not so bad with the right tools.
