Well, we're here...
Mar. 20th, 2003 07:49 am...Where we knew we'd be. Where none of us really wanted to be....
Yesterday work was very hard. People were in bad moods--incredibly bad. I got snapped at for things that weren't in my job description, and ended up just going home and crying and crying...it was just a culmination of the tension about our new war and stress and my own worries and feelings of rejection about work and culture. I did manage to pull myself together for Mr. S, who helped me clean out files in my computer and helped figure out what was wrong with my LJ probs. (LJ's overwhelming my version of Internet Explorer, so we're going to try to load a better one in here and see if that fixes things. Meanwhile, the beastie's running much more smoothly now. Thank you, sir!!! Please accept all the girl Scout cookies you can eat!!! Muncha muncha!)
...After that, I talked to AlfaChimp for a while...it was good to crack up for about an hour. Mr Chimp, you're good company, you are!
It's raining and I'm headachey...fallout from all the upset yesterday and this morning. I knew that Texan sunofabitch wasn't going to wait another second before nightfall last night. I guess it's time to buy that extra ravioli in case of emergency....feh.
