I picked up a cold this weekend. It was really frustrating, because I missed both Free Comic Day at the comic book stores and the May Day Parade. (It was incredibly windy and on-and-off-rainy, so I might not have been the only one missing it this weekend:( Mostly I stayed in and tried to rest, watching movies and knitting and reading "The Prisoner of Azkaban" again.

I also ate more garlic than any human being should ever have to. So if you smell anything kinda pizza-like...well, that would be me.

Hey, get that parmesan cheese shaker away from me!

You take care of yourself, girl!
Knit yourself a nose mitten to keep you stuffy nose warm. *grin*

Serendipity musta sneezed in your general direction. The trade winds were favourable. Voila!
Hope you're better soon. Looks like I won't be back in Minneapolis until June 4... :(
Get better, you {{{Ms. Eff}}}

Dang it! I missed Free Comic Day too! I forgot all about it.

Though I did get to see X2. Not free, but still comic-y goodness.

sorry to hear you are not well. I completely empathize, I think I caught the same cold. Made it to the Parade (barely) and spent the rest of the day on the couch. *ai-chooooo* *sniff*

This movie had better action scenes and special effects then the first one. The story was a bit better too, I think.

The X-Men are very fun :)

I should have gone to see Willard when it was in town...Crispin Glover's pretty cool in an insane kind of way...

I think I'll have to dig up my old X-man collection one of these days:)

And old Ninja comics...and a couple of old flaming Carrot comics...*snicker*

Now the shelves are full of arty comics, now that I've "matured"...but they're still comics books, and I love 'em I love 'em I love 'em!

so what have you got, mister?

I've got too much :)

Mainly superhero stuff, but also some horror, like Lucifer, and Fables. DC's Vertigo label has put out some interesting stuff, even if they do seem to be kinda coasting on Neil Gaiman's Sandman. And some of the Star Wars comics are interesting.

Me too.

Mostly arty stuff, lotta Gaiman and Dave Mckean, lots of Evan Dorkin, just about everything Slave Labor puts out, and about half of Oni press. Some Grendel, some of the Vertigo line though it's hard for me to keep on top of it all. Ooh, and Liberty meadows by Frank Cho! Gotta love that monkey man!
