Dadb code!!! *achoo!*
May. 5th, 2003 07:52 amI picked up a cold this weekend. It was really frustrating, because I missed both Free Comic Day at the comic book stores and the May Day Parade. (It was incredibly windy and on-and-off-rainy, so I might not have been the only one missing it this weekend:( Mostly I stayed in and tried to rest, watching movies and knitting and reading "The Prisoner of Azkaban" again.
I also ate more garlic than any human being should ever have to. So if you smell anything kinda pizza-like...well, that would be me.
Hey, get that parmesan cheese shaker away from me!

Date: 2003-05-06 08:26 pm (UTC)Now the shelves are full of arty comics, now that I've "matured"...but they're still comics books, and I love 'em I love 'em I love 'em!
so what have you got, mister?
Re:
Date: 2003-05-06 08:38 pm (UTC)Mainly superhero stuff, but also some horror, like Lucifer, and Fables. DC's Vertigo label has put out some interesting stuff, even if they do seem to be kinda coasting on Neil Gaiman's Sandman. And some of the Star Wars comics are interesting.
Re:
Date: 2003-05-06 08:41 pm (UTC)Mostly arty stuff, lotta Gaiman and Dave Mckean, lots of Evan Dorkin, just about everything Slave Labor puts out, and about half of Oni press. Some Grendel, some of the Vertigo line though it's hard for me to keep on top of it all. Ooh, and Liberty meadows by Frank Cho! Gotta love that monkey man!
