And this morning I looked in the mirror and...I seem to be skinnier than I remember. Awwright! All that warding of the Evil Eye of the work-cupcakes is paying off. (Granted, it's not always sucessful, but at least half the time I can fight it.)
Speaking of the Evil Eye...my main cow irker and I got into it again yesterday.
He was trying to order me around again, and said something particularly snotty when I snapped back, "Why do you have to BE this way?!?!" "Why do YOU have to be this way?" He sneered back. Personally, I've hit my limit. When I get a chance today, I'm going to have a quiet chat with one of our bosses about this, and add my name to the growing list of People who Are Getting Really Tired of this Shit. (I'm told the same cow irker was being sneery right in the office of our Building Ops director yesterday, too...not smart. he'll have to go put a horsehead in his bed now or something...I can only hope.)
I'm not looking forward to the tenseness today, and avoiding this Cow Irker, which'll be hard. But I can't let this go on. At work I've been increasingly more irritated with this behavior. It's always kind of been there, but the last few months it's escalated...and the past week and a half has gotten intolerable. It's interfering with my work. HE is interfering with my work.
So this morning I'm stopping off at the corner store for lunch stuff and nice big can of Whoop Ass(tm) to get me through the morning. Whish me luck.
