Neighborhood Witch--er, I mean, Watch....

msfledermausI went to the Citizens for a Loring Park Community meeting last night with a couple of other tenants, Jen and Ben to talk about our deteriorating building.
The Commitee seemed not only very interested in our problems, but knowledgeable about our landlord and past strategies that have been successful. (or almost sucessful, and would be more useful now that new laws are on the books.) There's a new meeting in December, and the first formal complaint by the community should be in my manager's mail drop by then. It feels good to be trying to do something positive about my building that doesn't involve me runing around with a spray bottle and a palette knife trying to pry the graffiti off the walls.
*streeeetch*
I'm glugging one of those weird week's-worth-of-vitamin-C-in-a-bottle drinks.
I need some extra oomph today, I think. Oomphitty oomph oomph oomph....
