..Not a bad morning, really.

I'm having Curryfest with friends tonight. Ben and Pete could use someone else cooking dinner for a change; they're up to their eyebrows in boxes and they can't begin moving until next Thursday. (Plus they downloaded some new South Park. Schweeeet!) I also wheedled someone else into coming, too. Bad Maus, force-feeding people curry....

Otherwise...Hmm. I feel kinda banal lately; wading through work and trying to figure out what to get people for Christmas. I mean to do some drawing again someime soon. If I don't keep in practice I lose it, bit by bit. Seductive break that knitting is, it shouldn't replace the other stuff I do. Nope, nope.

And of course I'm knitting as my friend's page loads. I'm 5 rows away from being done with the coworker's nephew's sweater. Light at the end of the tunnel, bebeh!!!

Nah...I love curry. It's really part of your duty to society as an artist, to force it on as many unsuspecting pallettes as you can. Kind of an audience-participation installation piece. Just keep the fire extinguisher nearby. Take pictures. There, you've got your next show.

Oh. Wear running shoes.

I am proud to be someone who exposes people to the delicate va-va-voom of a good green curry:D

and it went over well with my new gentleman caller. Success!!! I didn't even need the head start or anything:)
