Today is suuure gonna be...interesting.
Dec. 11th, 2003 08:25 am...for one thing...it's bloody cold out. I'm being strategic about my layers today.
I think it's time to bring the big Fluevogs out, too.
I also have a morning meeting with my boss to talk about the unceremonious sacking of The Annoying Cow Irker. It affects my job in a few ways: His job position brings me the mail in the mornings and delivers a bunch of stuff to the Post office a few times a week. He's usually my assistant in the afternoon, especially important right before Christmas. The Cow irker's also the *only* person trained to do my job if I'm sick or have taken vacation time off. Since I'm planning in January to visit the Scraggits at the Cranberry Ranch, I'm going to emphasize the fact that I am willing to train someone almost immediately, and have a couple of people in mind who need the hours and would be capable until we get a replacement. If we get a replacement...We need the manpower, but I'm not sure what the Egg-man's got up his sleeve. Koo koo kachew....
But it'll all be worth it. It's really such a relief to know he won't be glowering at me over the mail anymore. No matter what the day brings, I will be mini-moshing all over the mailroom for a few days:)
Yeah, baby!!!
