...and what I have learned is this:

Obstacles really suck. There's too many of them, they breed like bunnies, and you have to stay on top of the damn things constantly. And even if you do this, even more obstales will jump out and chew on your ankles and make you drag them around the room, beating them in the heads with a broom.

There are never enough broomsticks to fight the horrible Obstacle Plague. Though an exterminator might be a good idea.

Ganesh is the Hindu god of literature and travel, and said to be a mighty remover of obstacles. He's also rumored to be a mighty fine cook...

If I was reincarnated as a horse, I'd probably end up as one of the steeplechase variety...learning to jump those hurdles over and over and over. I keep on doing it, and at the same time I don't feel very accomplished at it. And the jockeys get on my nerves.

My building has got to do something about it's damn elevators. I hiked up 8 flights of stairs tonight, lugging a laptop and being growly from work and cold.

it's 19 below zero out tonight. The Snow Queen is riding out in force. Black Annis and the other blue-faced hags are hungry, freezing bodies and hearts with a touch and howling their hunger to the wind...
