End of the Day babblings and whatnot...

It's been a rough workweek, and it's gotten really quiet. Everyone's gone home for the most part. I'll probably take off, too...after a little Quality Time on a Computer That Works, bebeh. Here's a little list before I slog home:

VARIOUS THINGS GOING ON I HAVEN'T WRITTEN ABOUT BECAUSE I COULDN'T USE THE LETTERS "E", "D" AND "C" RECENTLY:

I got my "Your lease will be up, here's what we'd like to raise your rent to" sheet slid under my door the other day. I laughed maniacally, circled many apartment phone numbers in this week's "City Pages" and danced around like an evil hippie.

I finished the lovely boa-knit scarf I made for Katie Ah...It's gonna be hard to give this up. *pet pet pet pet pet*

I scored many, many pretty things in the Center Bookstore's "Getting rid of stuff" pile at work. I scored laquer trays and containers in black and red, a huge gray bowl to match the other one I have at home, many tiny leather boxes, and a basket. I need baskets. Yes, I'm moving, and yes, I'm bringing MORE junk home...

I'm fighting a head cold. I've been kinda feverish and coughing, dragging myself to work like a stubborn Idjit. I just knew how busy a week it was:P Next week....Mmmm, next week...

There's gonna be food and hair-gooping and relaxing at Ben the Neighbor's house this weekend. We needed an Oak-Grove-Reunion badly. And we're gonna have it, never mind the bus strike in it's second week.

I keep having cool ideas for arty business stuff...stuff I can't afford to do until after I move. Gotta be spring doing this to my lethargic noggin.

Now I'm going home to make plans for curry. Mmm, curry-plans!!!

I love how landlords attribute rent increases to maintenance. They don't do shit around here. Hell, the lock on the front door has been broken for months.

It's hilarious...and they're whacking off a big fat $130 outta ev eryone's deposit for "Administration fees"...basically walking around with a clipboard and nodding at all the stuff they didn't repair when you asked them to do itl.:P BaSTIDS...
