...The many false stops and starts of Minnesotan spring are both famous and irritating to it's denizens...it is no less irritating for the North American Fledermaus.
*Shot of Ms Maus packing her sweaters away...and unpacking them...and packing them...and unpacking them...*
Emerging from the hand-knit woolly nest, the American Fledermaus is in need of sunlight, fresh air and various vitamins...

The combination of vitamins, warm air and sun release all kinds of hormones, leaving the Fledermaus giddy and easily distracted.

The spring air gives way to stormclouds and the loud, booming thunderstorms the Midwest is famous for... with the predictable results from our target Maus.

But when the storms abate, the Fledermaus goes back to the routine she's established...hunting for food, playing with bright shiny objects and using her high-pitched echolocation squeaks to communicate with other creatures...
*Shot of Ms Maus tangled in yarn with the phone cradled between neck and shoulder as she knits..."So then what....He DIDN'T!!! NO way!!! That's just SO over the line... Sheesh, we work for stupid people, don't we?!? It's time to pull a Fight Club in his office, I'm serious..."*
