I'd finished making some chicken with noodles and shitake mushrooms last night when my phone rang...and it was the Emil-y. And whaddaya know, I made *too* much dinner, and we can't just let that stuff just sit there and congeal, after all...so we had a good time eating it in my living room. Emil-y buried herself in various mohair shawls and we did the work-gossip thing and ate applesauce and drank too much tea. She even brought me a prezzie...a little coffeecup with a little mouse in it, looking up wistfully. Awwwww...


Her birthday's coming up. I must buy her an Edgar Allen Poe action figure. Or a monkey. I sure do love payday. Hehhehhehhh...
